As I reflect on 2024, it has been quite a year - One filled with both sadness and anxiety over the increasingly fraught state of the world AND the joy of family and friends and fulfilling work with wonderful clients.

I am so grateful to have kicked off the year with putting the final touches on my own (looong overdue!) kitchen refresh and it still brings me joy every single morning to prepare my tea in such perfectly pretty surroundings.
Industry Events
Early in the year I was privileged to attend the annual Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas to learn about all the latest and greatest products. This show runs alongside the Home Builders Show and I was able to tour the New American Home showhouse as well.
Another highlight of the year was the opportunity to travel to NYC as one of the selected DesignHound influencers for a packed weekend filled with the most amazing people and experiences and learning.
I learned so much - but most of all, I treasure the relationships forged on that trip.
Design Projects
Projects this year were varied, unique and colorful!
A Modern Beach House new build,
An antique farmhouse bedroom makeover
Stunning living room bar corner,
A pretty and fresh living room update
Wallpaper was back in a big way this year and added so much personality and charm to bathrooms and bedrooms.
Entertaining
Of course the year would not be complete without any number of gatherings with family and friends over food…Hostess is one of my favorite roles!
From Brunch to Afternoon Tea to Holidays and Birthdays to celebrating the season, I am up for any excuse to throw a party!
Travel
A trip to Germany visiting Jenna and the magical Christmas markets was an absolute delight, AND my daughter flew home with me for the holidays.
Just squeaking into the end of the year I had a proud mama moment sitting with my parents as my son and daughter performed a stellar ‘Opera to Broadway’ concert at Nelson Hall Theater in CT.
Family is everything and I am SO SO grateful for mine.
As we turn the calendar to a new year, I am mindful each day to lead with gratitude and always look for the glimmers of beauty and hope.
I look forward to sharing some projects that will be wrapping up in the coming months and to starting some new ones. Surroundings are so important to well being, and I’m honored to create spaces for my clients to flourish.
