Spring Paint and Fabric Pairings
Spring is just around the corner….at least we HOPE it is?! So here are some fabric and paint pairings to get into the spring mood.
Spring is a wonderful season and you can channel it year round with these unabashedly pretty combinations.
All paint colors listed are from Benjamin Moore.
Spring Greens
Nothing says ‘spring’ like green. The earth bursting forth with brave green shoots defying the last dregs of winter always makes my heart happy.
These nature-inspired wallpaper and fabric options from Spoonflower by designer Danika Herrick are the perfect spring treat for a pretty sunroom, nursery, or bedroom.
Pair green painted millwork with trellis leafy wallpaper and a pale blue ceiling for a garden room atmosphere year round.
Misty Blues
Warmer weather brings to mind misty April showers and waterfront weekends. Bring the getaway home with these classic blues.
Crisp stripes, a mix of soft, buttery, and tweedy textures, alongside filmy sheers, and elegant embroideries capture the coastal feel in high style.
Leafy hardware on linen cabinets echo the embroidered leaves in the textiles.
Warm Peachy-Pinks
Sunny longer days bring salmon streaked skies at sunrise and sunset.
Capture the softer side of spring with these earthy warm tones and textures. Chenille and embroidered linen complement tweed and herringbone worry-free performance fabrics.
Peachy shades pair perfectly with warm wood tones and gilded metal.
Refreshing Aquas
Bring a coastal sensibility to any room with ocean shades of seafoam, aqua, and sand.
Paired here with a burnished brass metal finish for hardware, classic stripes, textures, and a kicky modern take on a Jacobean floral print are a fresh way to have coastal cottage style without the hackneyed nautical tropes.
We are using some of these colors and fabrics in a family room project in progress right now!
There are a million more combinations that spell spring (some others are linked below), but these are a few of my favorite color palettes for this, or any, time of year!
